We are thrilled to announce we will be attending the National Cancer Moonshot Summit hosted by Vice President Joe Biden in Washington DC tomorrow! We’re joining forces with leaders in healthcare, academia, and philanthropy, with cancer patients, survivors, and advocates to collaborate on reaching the Cancer Moonshot’s ultimate goal of ending cancer for good.

It will be our honor and privilege to represent the voice of the patient community in clinical research at the Cancer Moonshot Summit. As we explained in a recent blog post, patient enrollment is one of the biggest challenges to clinical research. The Cancer Moonshot Task Force’s goal is to double the rate of progress towards a cancer cure by 2020. We’ll be in the Nation’s Capital to let them know that it’s patients who will provide the rocket power to propel research to new heights.  

Like many CureClick Ambassadors, Vice President Biden was motivated by personal experience to make accelerating cancer research his mission. He’s called on all Americans touched by cancer to join in to get the job done.
